Although we refer to our child care providers as “babysitters”, that is really not the best term for them. Our child care providers are dedicated and experienced professionals who enjoy interacting with kids. They will do much more than sit with your children, they will get down on the floor and play with the kids, organize arts and crafts projects, supervise and participate in games and take the kids outside for some of our wonderful fresh Tahoe air.
Our staff are individually selected for their enthusiasm, energy, creativity and compassion and are thoroughly screened to make sure your kids are safe as well as entertained. Each provider also has a minimum of three years of childcare experience and many have early childhood education backgrounds. Our wide range of babysitters means we have the perfect provider for each family, whether it is the experience necessary to care for an infant or the challenge of caring for a large group of children, we have the right person for the job.
Below are bios for many of our babysitters, and while you are welcome to request a particular provider from below, we can not guarantee their availability. We can promise however that all of our sitters are equally as qualified. We will be happy to provide more detailed information on your individual babysitter during the reservation process.

About Me: I started nannying in college and although I had no previous kid experience, I instantly felt comfortable around kids and knew I wanted to pursue a career in the childcare profession. After graduating from University of Colorado, Boulder with a degree in Human Resource Management and Tourism, I moved back to Tahoe, where I had grown up skiing with my family and began working for a local family as a full time nanny. I quickly recognized the challenge vacationing families faced in trying to find reliable care for their children and decided to start All About Kids in 2002. I am now the proud parent of a beautiful and energetic five year old boy and now more than ever understand what parents go through in making the decision to leave their child with a stranger. It is my promise to my clients that I would never send anyone to watch your children that I would not be thrilled to have watching my own son. It is also my goal to do everything in my power to accommodate parents and children to make sure everyone is comfortable and happy. About Me: Coming from a family of four children, I value family as the most important element to a healthy lifestyle. That is why childcare is truly a passion of mine. I can find deep joy in a child’s smile, and utter happiness in the innocence of a child’s laugh. I have worked as a nanny for many years and began caring for children at a very young age. About Me: I am originally from Fairhope, Alabama and moved to California in 2007. I graduated with a communication degree from the College of Charleston in South Carolina. After college I decided to move to Jackson Hole, WY. I have always loved the outdoors and that is why I found my way to Tahoe after living in San Francisco for over a year. I began taking care of children when I was 14 years old and have enjoyed being a part of each child's life. I have worked with children ages infant to 12 year olds and love all ages. I am a very high energy person and want to be active as much as possible. About Me: I was born and raised in the beautiful Lake Tahoe area. I started sitting when I was 12 years old for two younger boys and grew with them, almost like an older sister. In the past 8 years I have cared for children from 6 months to 10 years old. Early on it became apparent that my positive and upbeat character fit perfectly with child care. Until I moved away for college, child care was a significant and continual growing and learning experience. I am now a junior in college with a human development/art studio emphasis. About Me: I am 20 years old and have lived in Truckee my whole life. I currently attend Sierra Nevada College and train and compete on their ski race team. Being one of 4 kids I am used to taking care of other kids ever since I was young. I started babysitting the neighborhood kids including children ages 6 months through young teens. About Me: While studying psychology at Northeastern University, I was privileged to intern for an organization that provided therapy to young autistic children. It was this experience that solidified my respect for and desire to work with children. Since graduating I have worked as a care provider for several families and have worked with all ages of children from newborns to preteens. I've been babysitting and nannying for many years. With 16 cousins, almost all younger I got my fair share of experience right from the get go. Recently I spent two years helping raise my niece from the day she was born until she turned two. I also worked at Squaw kids ski instructing 4-12 year olds for 3 years.
